Uses WEREWOLF COBLATION Technology, designed to take speed and precision to a new level*1-3 for faster patient recovery*4 and better patient outcomes.**4-6 Safe for use on multiple joint soft tissues,7-11 with FLOW~IQ Technology helping to provide automated outflow control to deliver a new standard of ablation performance.
Use of COBLATION Wands has been shown to result in better economic outcomes.***12-15
The origin of FLOW Wands was inspired by a simple but important need: to allow surgeons more control and access across different joint indications and tissue types when using COBLATION Technology.
Adapting to growing needs and expectations in arthroscopic surgery, painstaking research and development was dedicated to refine both our wand design and performance.
Introducing distinct improvements in our wand geometry, electrode design and outflow control, the FLOW 50◊ Wand and FLOW 90◊ Wand harnessed FLOW~IQ◊ Technology to enhance the standard of ablation across multiple joint soft tissues.
FLOW Wands represent the tactile expression of COBLATION technology’s core promise of control and performance…and there’s more to come.
*As compared to our predicate wand. Demonstrated in vitro.
**As compared to mechanical debridement for knee chondroplasty; n=60.
***In Germany, Spain, United Kingdom and United States, compared to mechanical debridement for knee chondroplasty.
****As demonstrated ex vivo in a single cartilage and meniscus sample.
*****Demonstrated in vitro. Compared to the AMBIENT◊ SUPER MULTIVAC◊ 50.
******Minimal damage (100-200μm) evident in untargeted cartilage tissue, as demonstrated ex vivo. Cell damage may vary depending on protocol use.
