Capital Markets Event on 11 November 2014

Smith & Nephew (LSE: SN, NYSE: SNN), the global medical technology business, announces that it will be holding a Capital Markets Event for institutional investors and analysts from 2.00pm GMT on 11 November 2014 in London, UK.

The event will provide insights into Sports Medicine, and follows the successful acquisition of ArthroCare Corporation by Smith & Nephew in May 2014.

The event will be hosted by Olivier Bohuon, Chief Executive Officer, with presentations from senior leaders of the Company's Sports Medicine franchise. Institutional investors or analysts wishing to attend should register on the Smith & Nephew corporate website.

Additionally, the presentations will be webcast live from 2.00pm GMT (9.00am EST) and archived after the event.
